How can You Download the Google Assistant in Your Android?

Google Assistant is now available in many languages in your Android phone and tablets. It is available in Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Arabic, Dutch, German, Italian, Hindi, French, English, Indonesian, Korean and many more.

Before you make your mind of downloading the Google Assistant on your phone, make sure you have a phone with:

  • Android 5.0 or higher
  • Device’s language set to a language listed above.
  • 1 GB of memory
  • Google play services.
  • Google app 6.13 or higher.

You are suggested to check your Google app version. This you can do by:

  • Opening the Google app on your android phone.
  • Tapping on Menu>settings> about on the home screen.
  • Look for the version number at the top.
  • If the version is below 6.13, then, you have to go on the Google app page and update it.

Also, you have to check if you have Google play services:

  • You are advised to go to the Google play services page and tap install.

Now, to start a conversation with Google assistant, do this:

  • Touch or hold the home button or say “OK Google”. You will be asked to turn Google assistant on if it is off.
  • Say a command or ask a question.

You can also make a call on Google assistant customer support number if you are facing the issues.
